Please join us at 6:30pm on October 10, 2024 for your quarterly board meeting. This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. Details of how to join are below and the agenda is attached.
The pool is now closed for the season because someone punched a hole in the pool.
Two incidents of vandalism:
(1) Chairs in the pool
(2) Hole in the pool
See photos of this family. If anyone knows who they are please call the community manager, Shannon at (713) 329-7130. They are the ones who threw chairs in the pool.
As stated we have a hole in the pool and we are currently reviewing the video footage to see at what time yesterday this happened.
When our investigation is complete, we will file all information with the authorities.
The pool will have to be inspected by the pool company on Monday but it is in our best interests to close the pool because someone can scrape their foot on the plaster of this hole.
In order for the pool to be repaired, it will need to be partially drained and then patched up. Hopefully this will be all that is needed. If it is cracked it will need to be re-plastered entirely.
Also, please note that the pool has been open every day. We even opened when the attendants went back to school during the week. We will now have to rethink this for next year and years to come. It seems like we need the pool monitored at all times when open again.
We are having National Night Out on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 starting at 6:30 pm.
– Event will be at Luxembourg Park
Precinct 4 Constables and Klein Fire Department will attend. We will have food and coupons from surrounding businesses, and a few will set up booths in the Park.
We are also asking if YOU have a business that you would like to advertise, you can set up in the park as well (bring a table). Also, bring brochures and/or coupons of your advertisement.
National Night Out is a yearly event that enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
This event is a way to get our community out to meet and thank our emergency services for their help in keeping our community safe.
We will have food and prizes. So come and join us at this event.
Precinct 3 will end their debris pick up this Sunday, September 1st. If your debris has not been picked up by Sunday, then starting Monday September 2nd each resident will have to call and request a pickup.
We have been informed that vegetative storm debris removal will begin on Monday, July 15, 2024. At this time, crews are removing debris that was pushed to the side of the road. Beginning Monday, they will be collecting vegetative debris by zone.
Residents should report their vegetative debris by calling 713-274-3100 or submitting your location at pct3.com/service-request.
Due to the ongoing power outage after Hurricane Beryl, please note the following:
The pool will be closed until the power returns, and then we will notify the pool company to have them come and clean it. We will notify residents when the pool can reopen.
The quarterly board meeting will be postponed and will not take place this Thursday. We will let everyone know once we have rescheduled with Charterwood MUD.
