Pool Attendant Request

Dear Residents,

Blue Water Recreational, the current pool company, are looking for pool attendants to man the gate during this pool season. The pool will open on Saturday, May 4th at 10 am.

The pool hours are Tuesday – Sunday 10 am – 8 pm and closed on Monday for cleaning. You must be at least 15 years of age and the pay is $12/hr.

Annual Meeting Call for Nominees

Hello Majestic Oaks Homeowners,

The nomination deadline for the annual meeting has been extended to January 8, 2024.

There will be four (4) positions open for election to the Board of Directors. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, you may submit your candidacy by downloading the nomination form below , and returning it to Shannon Abernathy, no later than Monday, January 8, 2024 at 12:00 pm.

Board Meeting Follow Up

Dear Residents,

The Board of Directors approved the 2024 budget at the recent board meeting held on October 13th. Please be aware that the annual assessments will be increasing to $495 due to increases for both vendor contracts and insurance. Below is a link where owners can access the budget or owners may also find the attachment in the resident portal at https://majesticoaks.connectresident.com.

Charterwood MUD has graciously approved to install a new entrance to the dog park on Luxembourg and we are thankful to them for this. The new gate will be installed at this entrance next month and it will be open from 7:00AM to 8:30PM every day.

Lastly, we would like to thank FirstService Residential for their service to our community. Beginning November 1, 2023, Associa will be taking over as the new management company, and we’ve been told that it will be a seamless transition.

National Night Out

Majestic Oaks will be hosting National Night Out in Luxembourg Park on Tuesday, October 3rd starting at 6:30 pm.

Precinct 4 Constables and Klein Fire Department will attend.  We will have food and coupons from surrounding businesses and a few will set up booths in the park.

We are also asking if YOU have a business that you would like to advertise, you can set up in the park as well (bring a table).  Also, bring brochures and/or coupons of your advertisement.  

We are thinking about having a Chili Cookoff but we need participants so if you feel your chili is the BEST in the area, please participate.  Prizes will be given out.

National Night Out is a yearly event that enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

This event is a way to get our community out and meet and thank our emergency services for their help in keeping our community safe.

Stage 2 Water Restrictions

Dear Residents,

Harris County and Charterwood MUD has issued a Stage 2 Water Conservation, moving from voluntary to mandatory requirements. Please see details below.

Please limit irrigation to no more than two days per week, between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. as follows:

Even numbered street addresses – Sundays and Thursdays

Odd numbered street addresses – Saturdays and Wednesdays

Landscape Violations this Month

Dear Residents,

We understand that is has been challenging for each homeowner to keep up with your yardwork while the temperatures are extreme. Due to constant high temps and a drought the Board has notified Management to not send compliance notices out regarding landscaping or landscape repairs this month.

Although the Charterwood MUD has initiated Stage 1 water restrictions, we ask that you please keep the grass watered as instructed by the MUD to limit possible fires. For more details about the water restrictions please refer to the email was sent to residents titled Urgent Water Conservation or visit Charterwood MUD’s website.
